My work is a reflection of the world around me and the world that has shaped me, using photographs from my own collection I am able to create new environments in my paintings. More recently I am exploring hyper realism in my Safari works, while remaining true to my fascination with the portrait. By removing the clutter of background or recreating a different one I am able to influence the response to a work.
